Nestled just outside Milton Keynes, the White Lion is a charming country pub with a laid-back vibe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Viv and John, the warm and welcoming hosts who set the tone for our stay. The large room featured a king-sized bed, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. While the bathroom was a bit cramped, the abundance of free toiletries made up for it. What's especially appealing here is the dog-friendly policy; our poodle was pampered with treats and even a cozy blanket. The enclosed garden provided a secure space for him to stretch his legs. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the in-house restaurant, where the hearty meals did not disappoint in terms of quality and price. The added bonus of free parking and Wi-Fi contributed to a well-rounded stay, marking the White Lion as a convenient and enjoyable stop, especially for those visiting Silverstone.
